Stouffer, Anders Named to Wallace Award Watch List
Dec 12- Texas A&M infielders Blake Stouffer and Luke Anders were named to the 2008 Brooks Wallace Award preseason watch list, the Collegiate Baseball Foundation announced. The award is presented annually to the national collegiate baseball player of the year. The CBF will trim the list to 20 quarterfinalists in late May and to 10 semifinalists following NCAA regional play. Three finalists will be named in mid-June.

Texas A&M 88, UC Irvine 66
Dec 22- Donald Sloan had 14 points, five rebounds and five assists and Texas A&M (No. 11 ESPN/USA Today, No. 14 AP) pulled away from UC Irvine in the second half for an 88-66 victory on Saturday. Dominique Kirk added 14 points and DeAndre Jordan had 12 points and five rebounds for the Aggies (11-1), who have won 32 of their last 33 games at noisy Reed Arena. Texas A&M has won 43 consecutive regular-season nonconference home games.

Dec 8- DeAndre Jordan and Donald Sloan scored 18 points each and Texas A&M (No. 14 ESPN/USA Today, No. 16 AP) bounced back from its first loss with an easy 109-73 victory over Texas State on Saturday night. Joseph Jones had 12 points and seven rebounds and Josh Carter added 12 points and five boards for the Aggies (8-1), who've won 40 consecutive nonconference home games and 29 of their last 30 home games overall.

Texas A&M Accepts Valero Alamo Bowl Bid
Dec 2- Texas A&M University (7-5) has accepted an invitation today to be the Big 12 representative in the 2007 Valero Alamo Bowl on Saturday, December 29 at 7:00 p.m. CST in San Antonio’s 65,000-seat Alamodome. “We look forward to welcoming the history and tradition of the Texas A&M Aggies to San Antonio to play the Penn State Nittany Lions,” said John Yantis, Valero Alamo Bowl Chairman. “The 1999 Alamo Bowl match-up between Texas A&M and Penn State filled the Alamodome with a record crowd and over 6 million viewers in ESPN.

Half-Price Holiday Hoops Tickets Available
