Dec 20- Senior Patrice Reado (Houston, Texas) scored a career-high 21 points as No. 10 Texas A&M was edged by No. 22 George Washington in an overtime thriller, 66-65, Thursday night at the Charles E. Smith Athletic Center. Reado recorded her third career double-double adding 10 rebounds in 42 minutes of play for the Aggies (9-2). Both teams traded baskets throughout the ballgame as the lead changed 16 times with the score tied on 13 occasions.

Dec 14- The No. 12/11-ranked Texas A&M women’s basketball team (8-1) is off to one of its best starts in the first nine games of the season as the Aggies similarly opened the 2004-05 campaign with an 8-1 record. Texas A&M’s Wallace Garners Another Prestigious Honor
Nov 29- Texas A&M center Cody Wallace has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American second team, the CoSIDA committee announced today. The selections for the Academic All-American team are based on player’s performance in the classroom as well as on the field. In the classroom, Wallace has already graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and is currently working towards a Master’s degree while playing his final season for the Aggies.
Cassidy Returns to A&M as Assoc. AD for Football
Nov 30- Tim Cassidy has been hired as the associate athletic director for football at Texas A&M, Aggie head football coach Mike Sherman and Director of Athletics Bill Byrne announced today. “I am very pleased to announce that Tim Cassidy will return to Aggieland to serve as an associate athletic director for football,” Sherman said. “Tim is widely respected across the country as one of the top football administrators.
Aggie Women Back In The Top 10 In The National Polls
Dec 18- The Texas A&M women’s basketball team (9-1) returned to the top 10 in both the Associated Press and USA TODAY/ESPN Coaches Top 25 Polls. The Aggie women moved up in the rankings after claiming a 62-60 victory over No. 14 and previously unbeaten Auburn on Dec. 15. A&M climbed two spots to No. 10 in the latest AP Poll released on Monday and one spot to No. 10 in the Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.
