Fall World Series Opens Friday
Oct 11- The defending Big 12 Champion Texas A&M baseball team will conclude fall workouts this weekend with the annual Fall World Series at Olsen Field. The "Roughnecks" and the "Plowboys" will be battling it out in a best-of-three series for the title. Game times are 6 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. on Saturday, and if a third game is necessary, it will be played at 6 p.m. Monday. All games are nine innings, admission is free and fans are encouraged to attend.

Jun 10- The No. 6 Texas A&M baseball team announced its 2007 team award winners, as voted on by the members of the team Sunday. “We have a whole team full of players who deserve awards,” A&M head coach Rob Childress said. “This team was totally committed from the time last season ended and it showed in the results they had. It was a team with great leadership and character and a team I will always remember as one of my favorites.
